Pray For Workers and Be a Worker

Matthew 9:35-38

Jesus lived His life on mission.  He didn't sit in a building, but He went out amongst the people and did many acts of compassion.  He had a genuine concern for their physical and spiritual health.  The result of one such tour prompted Him to call on His followers to pray for more workers to go into the harvest.  These verses contain two points of application.  First, the church is not a building.  The Saved are the Church.  He calls us to be on mission in our daily life.  The world is our mission field and every one of God's children are to be missionaries.  The second point of application is that the church should gather to worship and pray for God to send out more workers.  Will you make a commitment to be a soul-winner for Jesus? Will you pray for God to raise up more people to share the Gospel for the rest of 2020?
