You Can't Put a Number On It.

Matthew 18:21-22

There are times I wish I could put a number on forgiving others, or limit who merits my forgiveness.  The Bible doesn't allow exceptions to this command.  We are to forgive others who sin against us.  In face, unforgiveness itself is a sin.  Peter came to Jesus with what seems like a generous standard of forgiving people seven times.  Jesus took it to another level.  Jesus is telling us that we are to forgive all offenses from anyone.  Forgiveness doesn't always mean reconciliation.  There are times it is not safe to reconcile with someone, but we should always forgive them.  Is there anyone you need to forgive?

Thankful Thoughts:  Let us be thankful that Jesus forgives us of all our offenses against Him.
